US Transplant Games 2008, Pittsburgh,PA
The U.S. Transplant Games were held in Pittsburgh PA in July of 2008. Team Wisconsin was strongly represented at the Games and posted many strong performances especially in Track and Field, Tennis, Bowling, Cycling and Golf. Chris Klug visits TWI in Madison, WI
TWI was fotunate to have Chris Klug come to Madison to visit and help fundraise towards supporting Team Wisconsin in the 2008 U.S. Transplant games. For those who don't know Chris he is a professional snowboarder who received the gift of life via a liver transplant in 2000 and then went on to compete in the Olympics in Salt Lake City in 2002. Chris won a bronze medal in those olympics then turned to a professional career in snowboarding and has continued his winning ways ever since. Chris is an avid supporter of organ donation and transplant issues. Chris has been an avid suporter of TWI and Team Wisconsin for many years.
